Education, Community, Church - Focus Clientele Only
Colorado Costume Castle is delighted to be a part of many productions of schools and in our community - far too many to list. Click for Production Lists and Character Lists to get an idea of what might be among the many costumes available. Costumes range from “Music Man” to “Peter Pan” to “Shrek” to “James and the Giant Peach, to "Clue," to "Leading Ladies," to “Every Christmas Story Told….” Many schools and a number of community theaters, churches, and home school parents in the area frequently use the Costume Resource Center for costumes for school productions, wax museums, character presentations and special themed school dress-up days such as Roman, Renaissance or Colonial Days. Directors are the first to say, “When the youth have quality costumes that represent their characters they really get into the character. It makes a big difference.” Community theater productions will find the large selection can meet a variety of needs. Vacation Bible School and other church productions are more memorable with costumes to fit the theme.
Holiday, Animal PJ Costumes & Mascots - General Public & Focus
Christmas Santa’s, Mrs. Claus, Grinch, Elf or other Christmas themed costumes and Easter Bunnies are available for general public to borrow. Reserve early - they go fast! Mascots may be borrowed by the general public. They only require pick-up and drop-off to borrow as one size fits all. They add a lot of fun to any event. One church, at their Easter Egg Hunt, de-emphasized the Easter Bunny and emphasized “all God’s creatures” (pictured) in order to make room to focus more clearly on the real reason, and that it wasnot all about the bunny and colored eggs. The bulldog, “without the vest” but with a bonnet tied on and down on all fours, has been “Nana” in Peter Pan. Easter bunnies are borrowed for many family gatherings. Those hosting fund-raising events such as a fun-run can add their logo T-shirt for a great “finish line” photo - “no lion!” (Excuse the pun.) Halloween costume borrows are unavailable as they do not fit the mission and the castle is closed Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun during August and September and everyday during October.
